The kids rushed into the room loudly. You could hear them all the way down to the office. The day started off poorly but then we turned it around.
We began to start math and then we took a quiz about finding area. There were pretty good scores. Then, we all got donuts for Allison's birthday.
In music we didn't work on our compositions but watched a movie about Walt Disney. Then, we came back to class.
We went to the computer lab to play Larson's Math and go on Planet Fifth to look up our grades. Many students are looking forward to doing extra credit.
It was then time for lunch. It was hard to choose between hot dogs and cheeseburgers.
We went outside for recess. It was a liitle bit windy.
We came back inside and we did spelling. We got a worksheet that we have to take home.
Next was the second grade musical called “Under the Sea.” The second graders were talking to us about life in the Great Barrier Reef. Then some of the fifth graders had to stay in for the baseball field trip information for the safety patrol. The other fifth graders went back to the classroom to do quiet work.
Everyone was excited to get out of school.
