The fifth graders filed into the room and read the good morning message on the board. The message was to write in your writing journal about yesterday. The reason he choose that is because the safety patrol went to Rosenblatt Stadium yesterday!

Next was math. The 5th graders checked Math Boxes 9.11. After checking Math Boxes Mr. Vincent showed us a pan balance. Brad said, "This pan balance in really cool!" Then we did a couple of math pages. After the 5th graders were done with their math pages they all did a Math Box in their journal and a Study Link. When math was about over math everyone was ready to go to gym!

Follow math and gym was WART. Just in case you were wondering WART stands for reading and writing time. In WART we read a story called The Brooklyn Bridge. After reading the story the 5th graders did a quiz called, "In That Order, Please!" When the fith graders were finished with their worksheet they worked on their Interactive Stories. Aaron said, "I am getting hungry," because it was almost lunchtime and the 5th graders were very hungry!

Next came recess. It was really warm and all of the 5th graders were really excited because they were very good and they got extra recess!

In science we watched Bill Nye the Science Guy. We did science first instead of spelling because all of the band students had to go to band and Mr. Vincent wanted everyone to take their test at the same time.

For spelling the 5th graders took their spelling test on homophones. Emily said, " These homophones are very confusing."

Before Mr. Vincent read Harry Potter he told all of the 5th graders to spread out on the floor. Mr. Vincent read Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, while the fifth graders got ready to go home!

At the end of the school day, everyone said, "Goodbye Mr. Vincent," and gave him a high five while rushing out the door as fast as possible.
