Today is the magnificent day Wednesday. Everyone bursts into the classroom like if they were the first ones in the classroom they would win $1,000,000. Today we were to turn in our Study Link 10.1 and a sheet named "In That Order". The board also said to turn in $1.50 for when we go ro Russell we can buy our lunch. We’re going there so we can see a tour for next year it would be easier to get around the school. After that Mr. Vincent told us about the spectacular day. Mr. Vincent even told us that we were going to have a bus evacuation drill.
Next was the educational lesson Math. In Math we had to do Pan Balance Problems in our table groups. We had to figure out like how many balls equal 12 marbles. The good thing about Math that was we didn't have any homework. But Math was sort of hard because sometimes when you were supposed to divide by two, you would multiply by two.
Suddenly it was time for Gymsic (gym and music). Right on our way to Gymsic Mr. Vincent just then told us that we were going to do the bus evacuation drill. In Gymsic we held these ribbons and we had to walk in different directions. The boys were to hold onto the ribbon with our left hands. The girls were to hold onto the ribbon with their right. Then we walk in that direction. Then we would switch directions. After that we would weave it going under, over, under, over and we keep on repeating it. Then we had to unweave it but I don't want to talk about that.
After that was Spelling. During Spelling we took a pre-test. Our Spelling rule was the Latin root -sign. After the pre-test we didn't have enough time to check our words because of the bus evacuation drill. We had to walk to the back of the bus and bend down and two people would pick us out of the bus and we had to be 100 feet away from the bus. Then we got to have a little recess. Then we went inside and checked our words.
Eventually was W.A.R.T. (writing and reading time). During W.A.R.T. we worked on our interactive stories. It's where you choose what you want to do one of the two choices the student gives you. We also work on this sheet called "Where Would You Look". It's where you have to choose which you would use - a dictionary, thesaurus, or glossary to get the definition.
Finally it was time for art. During Art we looked at Optical Art. Then we got to make our own art piece. Then next week we will color it.
Next was lunch. Our choices were a toasty-dog or a chicken sandwich. Then we went outside and had fun for 15 minutes.
Then it was the end of the day. We started a new book because the other one was boring to a lot of kids. While Mr. Vincent read the new book Crash, we got to work on our art. Then we got to burst right out of the classroom and go home.
