We began the day with math. During math we got to read some graphs. Then at Gymsic, we did the May Pole Dance. The May Pole Dance was kind of fun. After that, we took a spelling pre-test. We ate healthy snacks during silent read time. Next, was reading and writing time. During reading and writing time, we worked on combining sentences. For homework we were assigned a worksheet. WART was next. Then came art class. In art class we created a Zoom project. A Zoom project is where the pictures keep getting bigger like they are zooming out. Then came lunch. It was potluck day for kids with no late assignments in April. I brought deli sandwiches. We went outside for extra recess and played around in the sunshine. We came back inside to finish our homework before leaving for the day. We ended the day with Mr. Vincent reading Jerry Spinelli’s Crash. We said good-bye to our student teacher, Mrs. Daily. Before we went home Mr. Vincent said, ''See you later'.” Then we all ran home. |
