As the students raced into the room, they got a new program on their handheld called "Mental Math." You try to figure the math problem they give you mentally. It could be any number like 22+65 or 8*7. We also turned in our assignments.
Stumbling into math, Mr. Vincent showed us how to fit through a note card! It was really confusing when he said it at first, but when he showed us the answer we thought it was really cool. Some of us even thought, "Why didn't I think of that?" Try it yourself and see if you can figure it out! After that we corrected Study Link 10.9.
Then we crept into gym. In gym we played baseball. When we played baseball this time we got to use real baseball gloves. After gym we were all pooped out.
After gym we moved into writing and reading time. In writing and reading time we finished and reviewed our health packets about bones and muscles. Did you know that Latic Acid makes your muscles hurt?
Furthermore we went to the computer lab. Some of us worked on our interactive stories while others did Larson Math.
Finally, lunch! For lunch the "A" choice was chicken nuggets and the "B" choice was Peanut butter and jelly sandwich! They were both very good!
After we bloated our selves up we transferred into spelling in spelling we took our weekly spelling test over the weekly lesson. This week’s words were from other languages.
After spelling we jumped into science. In science we made our "balloon rockets" and launched them to "Mars!" We all thought this was really fun and also very challenging!
Getting towards the end of the day Mr. Vincent read us the book called Crash. In this chapter Crash is at the school dance and wants to dance with this really pretty girl but, when he asks her she surprisingly said, "No." She said that she didn't want to dance would never dance with him because he was mean, a bully, and obnoxious. I agree because he did bully other kids around.
Finally as we packed things up getting ready to go home, the bell rung and we all stormed out of the room all going home!
