The kids rushed into the room to start the morning assignment. It was time to start another great day in Mr. Vincent's classroom.

The first subject of the day was math. The Math Boxes were hard for some kids and easy for others. We worked on division. Mr. Vincent also taught us how to use a percent circle to read pie graphs.

Oh boy! We got to play basketball in PE. We practiced chest passes and dribbling. We learned how to play the game. All the kids seemed to like it a lot.

Next, we had book groups in WART. We all practiced our reading skills. Everyone has a special way to learn. We each learned something about reading and writing today.

After WART, we went to the computer lab. Larson's Math was what we worked on. Larson's is a fun way to improve our math skills.

Lunch was a sack lunch with a sandwich and chips. Because of the snow, we had to have indoor recess. It was exciting to see the snow through the window.

Then, we had science. We played a game where we had to find a chip on a student's head or hidden around the room. Some of the chips were hard to find. The game simulated how fossil fuels will become harder and harder to find. After the game, we did a worksheet about nonrenewable energy sources.

During teacher read, Mr. Vincent reads Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix. It is a very good book. It is fun to listen to Mr. Vincent make the funny voices.

Snow was still falling when the bell rang. Some students were picked up early. The rest of the students finished up the day and couldn't wait until they hit the school doors to get out in the snow!
