There's an Owl in the Shower is written by Jean Craighead George. I just read this awesome book. If you read the next paragraph, you'll find out what a great book it is.
This book is about a kid named Borden. His dad get's fired because of spotted owls. Then he finds an owl on the ground in the woods. He takes it home and his dad doesn't like it at first but then he gets used to him. When his sister finds out, she goes crazy.
I like this book because it could really happen. It contains animals, which I love. It has good word choice. Also it has a good point.
The theme or message of the book is don't be mad at animals for something. Don’t kill them for something stupid. That's the end of my book review. Hopefully you read it.
