Just Call Me Stupid
by Tom Birdseye

Just Call Me Stupi, by Tom Birdseye is a tremendous book! I think this book can teach you a few life lessons. For example: Ignore people if they make fun of you or else you'll make things worse. If you want to make a friend, be a friend. Those are some of the things the book will tell you.

What this book tells about is a fifth grade boy named Patrick Lowe, even though he's in fifth grade, he still can't read. He loves to draw and he's really good at it. None of the teachers know what to do. When he starts reading, all the words on the page get blurry and he feels like he's suffocating. When Celina moves next door things begin to change because Celina is just as good at reading as Patrick is at drawing. To find out more read the book!

What I like about this book is that Celina has faith in Patrick, unlike some of the teachers. She tries to be a really good friend and that she's really nice. She's the only one in his neighborhood or school that's his friend. When people make fun of Patrick she's there to stick up for him like a true friend. I really like how she's a loyal friend.

This book's message is that you should never give up. Like the saying "Practice makes perfect!" you should keep on trying until you've met you goal. It also tells you when to care for someone or when to stick up for them. Well I hope you enjoyed my book report on this stupendous book! Hope you read it!
