Tracker

This book, Tracker, by Gary Paulsen, is about a boy who lives on a farm with his grandparents. It is deer season and he loves to go hunting with his grandpa. His grandfather has cancer and can't go with him this season so he goes by himself.

This story is about a boy named John. He lives on a farm with his grandpa and his grandma. He lives with them because his parents died in a plane crash. It's deer season and he always goes hunting with his grandpa, but his grandpa is sick and can't go. So, John goes by himself. He is tracking this doe for two whole days but in the middle he decided to touch her. He followed her until the doe was to weak to run or even walk and he did it he touched the doe and he collapsed on the doe. When he woke up the was gone doe. Was he dreaming? Wel,l you'll have to read the book to find out.

I liked this book because of all the adventure and you never know if he is going to shoot the deer or not. I also liked how he loved the deer. I liked how he wanted to be one with the deer.

I think the author was talking about death because he knew the grandpa was going to die. This was a great book I give Tracker five out five planets. You should read it too. It is a great book.
