The Hobbit, by J.R.R Tolkien, was a really great book. I think so, and I bet you would too. Here are some awesome things about the book.
The Hobbit, by J.R.R Tolkien, is about a Hobbit named Bilbo Baggins who possesses a very strong ring that holds many powers. He gets persuaded by Gandalf, a wise wizard, to set off on an adventure with Gandalf and 12 dwarves. All the dwarves had names that rhyme, like Orin and Borin, and they have many adventures together. For example, they get attacked by goblins. I don't want to give away the whole story, but I'll tell you a bit more. Bilbo gets separated from the group and has many mysterious encounters. If you want to find out what happens to Bilbo, read the The Hobbit.
What I liked about the book was that it never was dull and boring. It always kept me wondering or made me want to keep reading. The book always kept the reader informed with what was going on in the story. The author was really good with the characters' names, like Bilbo and Gandalf. He made it easy for me to picture things in my head. Also, the author made it really easy to read the book by not using too many hard words, and he didn't run the sentences too long or too short. In addition, the chapters were short and sweet.
The book's theme or message was to never give up, try your hardest, never get down on yourself, and always believe in yourself. You shouldn't be afraid to go on adventures because that's how you grow as a person and learn new things. In conclusion, that is why I want you to read The Hobbit, by J.R.R Tolkien. Some people say that you shouldn't read long books. In this case, you should because The Hobbit is very entertaining.Reviewed by Joel 9/02
