Planet 5th Book Review

My Teacher Flunked the Planet by Bruce Coville is a great book. You really should read it especially if you like books about aliens 'cause this is full of them. This is one of the best books I've ever read.

This book is about a alien race deciding what to do with the planet earth. They think earth's technology is to much for us and we will get far out in space before were ready. Most of the aliens think they should just blow earth up but some disagree. So they send three humans and three aliens to see if they can find some reason to not blow up earth. It looks like earth might be blown up when they find out if you train humans right they can have all of their minds connected. They say in the begging of time all minds were connected as time went on they began not liking it so the put a huge mind block that keeps your thoughts private. To find out the details and to see if earth gets blown up you'll have to read the book.

One of my favorite parts was when they were in the council chamber. I like it because you get to read what the different aliens look like and make a picture in your head. That leads up to the next part this book has great description. I think the author did a really good job explaining what is going on throughout the world like hunger and war. This is a great book.

I think the theme of this book is that we should try and help the people who are starving and try to stop wars, which cause so much death. Those people are starving and we are doing nothing to help them at all. We have to act now people are dieing every day. This book is sad at parts but it still is a really cool book!
