Undying Glory
by Clinton Cox

Undying Glory by Clinton Cox is a truly great book. If you like learning about the Civil War, you will LOVE this! If you think you know everything about the Civil War, you might not know that blacks had a whole regiment!

Undying Glory is about a man named Robert Shaw, who wanted to make a regiment of blacks, and another, governor John Andrew, who had the same dream. But the blacks faced racism, angry townspeople, torture, confederates, and even death. When they finally got into the Civil War, they got unfair pay, and the officers used them as laborers! And as you {should} know, the Civil War was no cup of tea. How will this turn out? Well, just read the book! You'll love it!

I think that this book's message is that you should follow your dream, no matter what it is, and try to make that dream a reality. It doesn't matter what other people say about it. It's not their choice. It's yours.

Well, I guess this about wraps it up. I STRONGLY recommend this book to you. It was a fun and very informational. In reading this book, I sort of have a new look on blacks, and I hope you will too.
