Captain Underpants is the title of this book. The author of this book is Dave Pilkey. The book I'm going to tell you about is Carton Underpants.
This book is about two boys that hypnotize their principal to not give them detention. George and Hereled wouldn't have detention for a week and do the principal's chores. That's when the principal thought he was Captain Underpants, the greatest super hero in the world. The two boys were Gorge, and Herold . They made a comic book about Captain Underpants and sold them to the kids at the playground.
What I like about the book is the humor and how Captain Underpants uses underpants as a sling shot against evil. The other thing I like about the book is when Gorge and Harold shot a fake dodo at Dr. Diper and he thinks he pooped his diper. The other part I liked in the book was when someone snaps the principal like a monkey. The part in the book is the part when they sabotage the football game.
The theme is Gorge and Herold get in to a lot of trouble. Never hypnotize your principal. Don't tell your principal he is Captain Underpants. Never ever sabotoge a football game.
