In the beginning, a Boy's father bought a motel in the middle of the desert, but they don't get very many customers. The Boy's dad has an idea to make more money. His ideais to find a "Wobby Gurgle." His Father says it’s a creature that likes to drink... WATER. That night the Boy looked out his window and sees a trail of footprints, wet ones. I bet you can guess what he does. He follows them. If you want to know what happens next read this book.
What I like about the story is the idea of the Wobby Gurgler. I think it was creative. Something I don't like about the book is the ending.
I think what the message is to not wonder of in the desert with out water. Or don't do it anyway. So don't be as curious as Curious George.
