Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
by J.K. Rowling

I read the book Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling. It's a great book and it keeps you excited all through the whole book! I think it would be better if you read the first and second books before this one.

The book's about a boy whose name is Harry Potter. Harry is famous for defeating the dark and powerful wizard Voldamort when he was one year old. However, a man named Sirius, who escaped from Azkaban, the wizard prison, is planning on killing Harry. At least that's what everyone thinks Sirius is trying to do. Harry's friends try to cheer him up and make him forget about Sirius . Later in the book, Harry and his friend meet Sirius. Will Harry and his friends live to tell were Sirius is? If you want to know what happens next. Read the book Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

I thought the whole book was great. It had great word choices and descriptions. I also like the Weaslys because they're like my family, except they are wizards. They have a lot of children, like we do. They aren't very rich. They're about middle class.

I think one of the themes is that you can't always believe second hand information because it's not always true. Another message is that good friends are important in life. Also, you shouldn't care about what everyone thinks, they aren't always right. J.K. Rowling must have a great imagination. If you like magic or fantasies, this book is going to be your favorite!
