What
Means
to Me

I have been studying about drugs in class. DARE has taught me that drugs are bad. Drugs are also harmful to my body and can make my life awful. Drugs are illegal and I would have consequences if I was caught with drugs.
DARE taught me how harmful drugs can be to my body. They can cause memory loss, destroy parts of my body, or cause cancer. If my body is destroyed by drugs, I could die.
I want to live a healthy life so I can play sports, have fun with my friends, and spend time with my family.
Drugs are illegal and I may have to go to jail if I use them. When people are caught with drugs, they can suffer the consequences. I may be thrown in jail, suspended from school, or get in trouble with my parents if I am caught with drugs. If I get caught, it will be in my permanent file forever.
I have been attending DARE and I have learned that drugs are very bad for people. I will stay away from drugs because I am going to live longer and be healthier. I am glad I have had DARE in 5th grade.
