Ericsson first European to set foot on America
Leif Ericsson was a Viking and the son of Eric the Red. Like many Viking men Ericsson was a sailor. As a man he sought to find a land he had hear of since he was a boy. With the story dancing in his head, Leif set sail. On his journeys Leif set foot on many lands and named them, a few of them where Helluland and Vindland. In doing this Leif Ericsson became the first European to set foot on America. He did this 500 years before Cloumbus.
