"Have a Holly Jolly Christmas"

You are only ten and your grandparents bought you a gorgeous new house for Christmas. Now it is time for the real presents, you think.

It was Tuesday, Christmas Eve. You couldn't wait for Christmas. Your family is all sound asleep, except you.  You think to yourself, How can they sleep at a time like this. Finally, at midnight, you fall asleep.

At 8:00 am, you wake and hear the strangest noise you've ever heard. It sounded as if a dog was digging a hole.


You go to investigate.
