A group of students in 3rd and 4th grade studied Bridges with Carol McNulty from the Univerisity of Nebraska 4-H Extension Office. Students were exposed to engineering as they designed a popscicle stick bridge to withstand at least 10 pounds. Students that used a triangle design were the most successful and several of the structures held 45-50 pounds!
