Have you heard of the Birthday Book Club?
When it is your child's birthday, if you would like to donate a book to the library, send $10.00 with your child.
He/she will choose a book from a stack of new books that are in the library for that purpose.
A donation bookplate will be put inside the book with your child's name on it and his/her picture will be taken
with the book. The book is then checked out to your child to take home to read. When it is brought back to school,
it is then put on the shelf for others to check out. The child's picture will be put on the bulletin board in the media center. If your child has a summer birthday, he/she can donate a book on their half-birthday.
