Standing 33 feet wide and 25 feet tall, "The Triumph of Youth" is the most visible piece of public art in Millard. The project is a collaboration between artist Watie White and more than fifty Millard Public School students and staff and members of the Millard community. Spanning two years of visioning and planning, the piece represents Millard's past, present and future. It was created by nationally recognized local artist Watie White and stands at Buell Stadium at 149th and Q Streets. The artwork was installed in the summer and early fall of 2021 and celebrated in a dedication on September 20, 2021.
The Triumph of Youth was privately funded through the generous support of the Millard Public Schools Foundation, Penny and Frank Kowol, Addie and Robert Hollingsworth, the Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
