Get ready for an unforgettable musical evening as "The President's Own" United States Marine Band comes to Millard West High School on October 2, 2023! This is a unique opportunity for our community to enjoy a free concert by the premier ensemble of the Marine Corps. It's the first time they've been in Nebraska in five years.
Led by Marine Band Director Col. Jason Fettig, the concert will feature a fantastic lineup including traditional band pieces, iconic Sousa marches, contemporary compositions, vocal and instrumental solos, and a patriotic tribute to our Armed Forces. The Marine Band has a rich history, dating back to 1891 when John Philip Sousa, the 17th director, initiated the concert tour tradition.
