Millard Graduate Program and Scholarship Opportunities

Millard Public Schools offers teachers several options to continue their education.  The new Millard Graduate Program, in partnership with the University of Nebraska at Omaha, provides teachers the opportunity to earn their Master's of Curriculum & Instruction - Elementary Education degree at a significantly reduced price.  We also offer PK-12 certificated staff select courses as additional graduate hours, including those wishing to take coursework for +39 credit.  

Scholarships are also offered to teachers working towards a degree, endorsement or certificate in high needs areas.  This may include: AP/Dual Enrollment/Early College, Math, Reading, Science, Gifted (HAL), ELL, and Special Education.

Scholarships

Eligibility Information

 

Excellence in Teaching Act

The Enhancing Excellence in Teaching Program (EETP) provides a limited number of forgivable loans to Nebraska teachers enrolled in an eligible graduate program at a Nebraska institution. Eligible students may apply on an annual basis for funds of $175 per credit hour, up to a maximum of $3,000. Students can apply for EETP loans annually for up to five (5) consecutive years. Eligible graduate coursework includes classes that begin during the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. Click here to view the information flier.
