Types of Preschool

Eligibility 

  • Traditional is for children turning four (4) years old on or before July 31, prior to the school year of attendance. 
  • Montessori Preschool Program is for children are three (3) or four (4) years old on or before July 31, prior to the school year of attendance.
  • Children who have reached their 5th birthday by July 31st are not eligible to enroll. 

Application Process:

  1. Complete your ONLINE PRESCHOOL APPLICATION between September 15th - February 15th for the upcoming school year.
  2. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted by the preschool office.
  3. You will receive notification of your approval or denial no later than March 1st. 
  4. Once you receive notification your child has been granted a seat in preschool, please begin the registration process below:

You MUST provide the following required documents before we will process your student's registration:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Residency 
  • Copy of required immunizations

If you currently have a ParentVue Account, please use that to login and complete your registration.

If you cannot remember your login information you can call the parent assistance line at 402-715-8000.

If you are a NEW family to Millard, select HERE to create your new ParentVue Account and select "Create New Account" and follow the on-screen instructions. 

Once you've activated your account, use this link to access your ParentVue account.

Early Entrance Testing

  • Children born between August 1st and October 15th and who are Millard residents are eligible for early entrance testing.

    REGISTER AS A NEW FAMILY IN MILLARD

    • The registration window for all NEW to Millard students opens February 1.

    Residents versus Options

    • If you do not live in Millard you must first apply for Option Enrollment Acceptance.

    COMPLETE OUR ANNUAL UPDATE AS AN EXISTING FAMILY

    Annual Update Directions

    1. Log into your ParentVue Account 
    2. Select the Annual Update link for each of your enrolled students and follow the on-screen directions
    3. If you do not know your username and password, please call the Parent Assistance Line (PAL) at 402-715-8000.

     

    What is an Annual Update

    • Annual updates are required for all current enrolled Millard students.  The purpose is for all students/families to provide their current demographic information and also digitally sign all required documents for the upcoming school year.  

     

    Annual Update Window

    • The annual update for all currently enrolled students will open on June 10, 2024 and will close on July 31, 2024.  (All annual updates must be completed within this window)

     

    APPLY FOR A WITHIN DISTRICT TRANSFER

    Application Window

    • Within District Transfer Applications for the 2024-25 school year will be accepted until February 15, 2024.  
    • Please note, for consideration during the annual March placement process, the electronic Within-District Transfer Form must be completed by no later than 4 p.m. on February 15th.
    • Each application is electronically time-stamped and dated upon submission.

    • Placements are made based on space availability in the grade level, program, and school requested. 

    Acceptance and Denial Notification

    • Within-district transfer students shall be notified by mail in the first week of March.

    APPLY FOR OPTION ENROLLMENT

    Option Enrollment Application Form

    • Application is open. Please click this link: Option Enrollment Form 
    • Please Note: You may only submit ONE application per student and request ONE school per student. If more than one application is submitted for the same student we will only consider the first one received. 

      Application Timeline

      • Option enrollment applications are accepted from September 1- March 15, 2024 for the 2024-25 school year. The deadline for application is 4PM on March 15th. If applying after the March 15th deadline, you must contact your home school district for a signed release form.

      Application Notification

      • Option applicants will be notified of acceptance or denial during the first week of April by letter as to whether an application has been accepted, denied, or waitlisted.  Please make sure you keep your address current with your application.

      Student Placement

      • Student placements are made based on available capacity in each grade level, program, or school requested, and in a priority order established by State statute. 

          Students who move out of Millard, but wish to stay

          • If you have moved OUT of the Millard boundary, but wish to stay, please contact Tami at 402-715-8312.  Please DO NOT use this online form for this purpose.
