Preschool Program Application/Registration

Types of Preschool:  Millard offers both traditional and Montessori high-quality preschool programs.  You must be a Millard resident to attend traditional preschool.  Click here for more detailed information about Millard Preschool.

Preschool Eligibility:  Children turning four (4) years old on or before July 31, 2022, may apply for the traditional program, and children who will turn three (3) or four (4) years old on or before July 31, 2022, may apply for the Montessori Preschool Program. To be eligible for Millard’s preschool programs, children may not have reached their 5th birthday by July 31st. 

Preschool Application Process:

Step 1: Complete your online preschool application between September 1st - February 15th for the upcoming school year.

Step 2: Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted by the preschool office.

Step 3: You will receive notification of your approval or denial no later than March 1st. 

Step 4: Once you receive notification your child has been granted a seat in preschool, please begin the registration process below:

You MUST provide the following required documents before we will process your student's registration:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Residency 
  • Copy of required immunizations

If you currently have another student enrolled in Millard, please enroll your preschool student using your ParentVue account.  if you cannot remember your login information you can call the parent assistance line at 402-715-8000.

Kindergarten Registration Portal

Kindergarten Registration Window:  The registration portal window opens on February 10, 2022.

Kindergarten Age Eligibility:  Children who turn five (5) by July 31, 2022 are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten. Select here for Kindergarten enrollment policy.

Early Entrance Testing:  Children born between August 1st and October 15th and who are Millard residents are eligible for early entrance testing. Please contact Kim Pirrone at 402.715.8314 or kjpirron@mpsomaha.org for information.

Kindergarten Roundups and Parent Nights:  You must submit your child’s online registration before you can attend Kindergarten Roundup.  Select here for Kindergarten Roundup and Parent Meeting Times.

New Family Registration Portal

New Student Online Registration Window:  The registration window for all NEW to Millard students opens February 10, 2022.

Residents versus Option:  If you do not live in Millard you must first apply for Option Enrollment Acceptance. More information about Option Enrollment Acceptance can be found here and also on the Option tab on the previous page.

Registration Directions:  Please complete your online registration using a laptop or desktop. Mobile devices will cause errors.

In order to complete your child's registration you must provide the following before we will process your application:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Residency 
  • Physical dated after 2/10/2022 (Physical required for 7th grade and students who moved in from out of state)
  • Copy of required immunizations

Current Student Annual Update Portal

What is an Annual Update

Annual updates are required for all current enrolled Millard students.  The purpose is for all students/families to provide their current demographic information and also digitally sign all required documents for the upcoming school year.  

 

Annual Update Window:  The update window will open  for all currently enrolled students/families on June 6, 2022 and will close on July 31, 2022.  (All annual update must be completed within this window)

 

Annual Update Directions:

1.  Log into your ParentVue Account 

2.  Select the Annual Update link for each of your enrolled students. 

3.  If you do not know your username and password, please call the Parent Assistance Line (PAL) at 402-715-8000.

 

Registration and Enrollment Frequently Asked Questions
Within-District Transfer

Application Window:  Within District Transfer Applications for the 2022-23 school year will be accepted until February 15, 2022.  Please note, for consideration during the annual March placement process, the electronic Within-District Transfer Form must be completed by no later than 4 p.m. on February 15th. Each application is electronically time-stamped and dated upon submission.

Student Placement:  Placements are made based on space availability in the grade level, program, and school requested. 

Acceptance and Denial Notification:  Within-district transfer students shall be notified by mail in the first week of March.

Option Enrollment Request

Option Enrollment Information:  Board Policy 5100.3

Option Application Window:  Option enrollment applications are accepted from September 1- March 15, 2022. If applying after the March 15th deadline, you must contact your home school district and request a hard copy form with release. 

Request Restrictions:  You may only submit ONE application per student and request ONE school per student. If more than one application is submitted for the same student we will only consider the first one received. 

Students who move out of Millard and wish to stay:  Please do not use this online link if you have moved OUT of the Millard district and would like your student to remain in Millard.  Please contact Brooke Rudeen at 402-715-8312 to obtain the proper information and form. 

Acceptance and Denial Notification:  Option applicants will be notified during the first week of April by letter as to whether an application has been accepted, denied, or waitlisted.  Please make sure you keep your address current with your application.

Student Placement:  Student placements are made based on available capacity in each grade level, program, or school requested, and in an priority order established by State statute.
